Football Professional Involved in 4-Car Pileup
A cornerback for the New Orleans Saints, Mike McKenzie, was involved in a four-car pileup Wednesday, January 3, in Metairie, La. His car was rear ended, but fortunately, he did not receive any serious injury and was able to walk away from the accident. According to Louisiana State Police Trooper, Joseph Piglia, “He was stopped and another car ran into the back of him and forced him into another car.”
Mckenzie’s automobile was seriously damaged. As a precaution, emergency personnel took him to hospital for observation. Police authorities have not released the name of anyone else involved in the accident.
