Hunting Accident Causes Serious Injury to Young Boy
An hunting accident in Lafayette, California resulted in a young boy being shot during a pheasant hunt. Dreyson LeDoux ended up losing sight in one eye because of his injuries. The boy was shot accidentally when a pheasant was flushed out of the nearby bushes by their hunting dog. The boy had to go though half a day of surgery in hopes of saving the sight in his other eye, which was also injured during the hunt. The accident occurred in the Feather River Wildlife Area.
