In an attempt to keep his little girl safe, Britney Spears' father had banned her from using her car. Recently, however, his attitude softened and he gave his daughter "permission" to tool around the block in her car. (And we wonder why the girl fails to grow up!).

Anyway, Britney may be about to have her driving privileges revoked - she caused a minor accident on the LA Freeway yesterday evening when, in stop-and-go traffic, she forgot the 'stop' bit. She failed to stop her Mercedes in time, rear-ending the car in front, causing the car in front of her to rear end the car in front.....

Strangely, although the accident was attended by the California Highway Police, no tickets were issued. Wonder why that was then...
