Bridget Bardot has been charged for the fifth time since 1997 with inciting racial hatred. The 73 year old former blond bombshell went on trial on Tuesday for insulting Muslims. She faces a two-month suspended prison sentence and a fine of $23,760 for commenting that the Muslim community was destroying France and "imposing its acts." Previous comments from Bardot are not confined to Muslims, although she has said that France is being invaded by sheep-slaughtering Muslims; she has also published a book that attacks gays, immigrants and the unemployed.

Reading this, its hardly surprising that the prosecutor in the case is quoted as saying:

"I am a little tired of prosecuting Mrs Bardot."
