Two Injured in Explosion at Wynnewood Refinery
Two people were hurt after a problem in a boiler room at a Wynnewood, Oklahoma refinery. Refinery officials say that the men were knocked to the ground and covered in debris. They both were treated and released from the hospital. On Friday, about three million gallons of gas and oil caught fire for about 48 hours after lightning hit a tank at the refinery.
Officials say that Monday's explosion had nothing to do with the explosion last week. Chief Ken Moore says he is happy with how the situation was handled: "For there to be no injuries, especially in the way that everything happened, they seemed to be in the right place at the right time anticipating anything that could happen and they did an extraordinary job."
