Public Needs to be alerted about Donor Tissue
The FDA issued a notice on August 30, 2006 to inform the healthcare community that human tissues recovered by Donor Referral Services (DRS) may not have met FDA requirements for donor eligibility. This notification is a result of an ongoing FDA investigation of Donor Referral Services which was located in Raleigh, N.C., and at a former location in Las Vegas, N.V.
